Our Warranty

We offer a 18-month non-transferable Limited Warranty on our products, in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Your Limited Warranty must be made official by registering on our official warranty registration page. 

The warranty (limited or extended) must be registered within 30 days of purchasing the product. Failure to register within 30 days will result in the warranty (limited or extended) being invalid, though this does not affect your statutory rights.

Only one warranty can be provided per customer, per product, and we will need to confirm your proof of purchase before actioning any warranty claim. 

In the event that the product is opened and sold by a third party, the existing warranty shall be considered "expired" and no further warranty will be provided for that product.

Register Your Warranty

The Warranty Period

  • The Limited Warranty becomes active from the date of purchase, provided that the warranty registration is completed within 30 days of the purchase date.
  • Your warranty will last no longer than 18 months after the purchase date unless an official extension has been purchased from Senelux U.K. Limited and can be produced in an unaltered, date-stamped manner. 
  • Any repairs or replacements to the product during the warranty period will not extend or alter the prior agreed warranty terms.
  • If you have purchased a "3-Year Extended Warranty," your product will be protected for a total of three years under the same terms and conditions as the Limited Warranty.

Warranty Coverage

  • The warranty provided covers defects in material, manufacturing, or workmanship of the product. 
  • During this 18-month period, Senelux will attempt to repair or replace the product. 
  • During this time, we may request that the product be returned to our facilities for testing, repair, and investigation. 
  • If we are unable to repair the product, we will offer a replacement of the same model where available or refurbished unit of the same condition. If the same model is no longer available, we may offer a similar or upgraded model. If the replacement model is priced higher, the customer may be asked to cover the difference in price.
  • Within the first 6 months of purchase, if a fault arises that is covered either under your rights under UK consumer law or our Limited Warranty, Senelux will cover the return postage costs. After 6 months, if a fault is covered under our Limited Warranty, the customer is responsible for the return postage cost to us. Senelux will cover the cost of repair or replacement, as well as the return postage back to the customer.
  • All refurbished products sold by Senelux are inspected, tested, and confirmed to be in good working condition. These products may show minor cosmetic imperfections but are fully functional. Please note that we do not offer a voluntary warranty on refurbished products. However, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 still apply.
  • Warranty service is only available within the United Kingdom.

Commercial Use

Senelux U.K. Limited reserves the right to refuse a warranty claim if there are reasonable grounds to assume that, without express written permission from Senelux U.K. Limited, the product has been used for commercial purposes.

How to Make A claim

To make a claim under this limited warranty:

  • Contact our support team with proof of purchase and warranty registration, and a detailed description of the issue
  • If requested, return the item to us for inspection

Voided Warranty

Senelux U.K. Limited reserves the right to refuse service under the following conditions:

  • Malfunctions and damage not resulting from defects in material or workmanship. 
  • Accidental damage or intentional damage inflicted upon the product in question.
  • A failure to comply with operational instructions of a product that are clearly outlined within a product's instruction manual which, immediately or later, causes a significant damage to said product.
  • General wear and tear, staining or marking, damage, misuse or any consumable parts.
  • A failure by the user to effectively clean and reasonably maintain said product
  • Damage or destruction caused by wrong voltage or unstable electric current
  • Any partially or completely altered, modified and/or dismantled products;
  • Defects caused by or resulting from repairs, service, improper maintenance, or alteration to your product or any of its components by anyone other than a repair person authorized by Senelux.
  • Failure to register the warranty within 30 days of purchasing the product.
  • Senelux cannot provide Warranty service to products purchased by unauthorised resellers, auctions or resell sites. Nor can Senelux provide warranties of products bought pre owned / second hand.

Our Statement

Senelux’s sole liability under or in connection with the Warranty is as set out in this warranty card and Senelux shall not be liable whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or restitution, or for breach of statutory duty or misrepresentation, or otherwise, for any loss of profit, loss of goodwill, loss of business, or any special, indirect or consequential damage that arises in respect of the product or its use, whether in accordance with the user's manual or otherwise.

The Warranty will be immediately and automatically voided if any alterations are made to the product, non-genuine components are fitted in or to the productor if the product is repaired by a third party that has not been approved by Senelux.

Senelux reserves the right to refuse to honour any Warranty claim in respect of any products that are returned to Senelux dirty, contaminated or in any other condition that Senelux reasonably considers may pose a risk to its personnel.

Senelux may contact you to request further information in order to complete a repair under warranty or deliver the repaired product back to you. In the event that you do not respond to Senelux's reasonable efforts to contact you within 30 days, Senelux may consider the product to be abandoned and reserves the right to safely dispose of the product.

In the event that your product is considered to be in an unsafe and unrepairable condition, Senelux will return it to you without its mains power lead (if applicable) for the protection of your safety.
